Studio Mayd is an energetic, creative architectural design studio located in Washington, DC. Our experience ranges from commercial, retail, and cultural spaces to single and multi-family projects, and we believe that the diversity of our expertise contributes to our agile, creative process.
Lindsey May is an award winning Registered Architect based in Washington D.C. In addition to contributing to the built environment through design projects, she is a Professional Track Faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
Prior to founding Studio Mayd, Lindsey worked in architecture and fabrication studios around the world including: Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis, SOFTlab, and Rafael Vinoly Architects. Lindsey holds a Masters in Architecture from Princeton University and a Bachelors of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan.
Portia Strahan and Julia Klineberg are talented architectural designers who bring their unique expertise to Studio Mayd. They’re fantastic.
